Come get your FREE TREE! * We’ll have several different varieties of tree saplings available at this event.

Create a ‘bee buffet’!

We also have some fun activities leading up to FIRfest.

1. Tell us about your favorite tree!

We want to know about YOUR favorite tree!

Follow this link:

https://form.jotform.com/FircrestParksandRecreation/FIRfestFAVORITETREE

The Questions:

Where is the tree located?

How tall do you think it is? (a good guess is all we ask!)

THEN. … draw a picture or submit a photo of your favorite tree! (You can download your art on to the form)

We will post it at the community center for the month of November.

And we’ll pick a winner in each category: child (17 & under) and adult (18 & over) for a prize!

2. Fircrest Tree and Bird Walk

Join us on Saturday, November 7 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am for our first ever Fircrest Tree and Bird Walk.

We’ll begin at Espresso Yourself, so come early if you’d like to buy a coffee and treat. The walk begins at 10:00 and will be led by Fircrest Mayor Nikki Bufford and Glenn Johnson with the Pierce Conservation District.

And the best part? You’ll have an opportunity to join neighbors and friends to make a difference in our parks! Come join the work party to preserve our green space at Whittier Park lead by the Pierce Conservation District. Sign up to help at FIRfest on November 14th! To register for the work party scan the QR code on the poster or follow this link. https://zfrmz.com/mZvxhOmWY5t8CHCVei4z
