  • Authorities report a 12-year-old boy who went missing on Tuesday in Pierce County is now safe.  FOX 13
  • A suspect who shot his way into a mall store to steal high-end kicks appeared in court Thursday—police said he is under investigation.  FOX 13
  • A 27-year-old man was arrested on March 12 at 10 p.m. on the 300 block of 384th St. S when he allegedly ran over his neighbor three times with his truck — an incident that followed an argument over surveillance cameras in which the victim brandished a pocketknife.  KOMO

EDUCATION NEWS

  • State Superintendent Chris Reykdal said school funding is down $1,000 per student which hits special education the most—he urged lawmakers to add $500 million a year and adjust funds for inflation as schools face a $1 billion loss in buying power over the past five years.  KOMO
