  • Pierce County deputies arrested a 23-year-old man at a Puyallup Chevron gas station—while responding to a vandalism call—and are continuing their investigation.  FOX 13
  • A UW lab technician — a Pierce County woman who immigrated here more than 50 years ago — has spent nearly a month in ICE custody at Tacoma's Northwest Detention Center.  FOX 13
  • A mother remembered her son—allegedly hit and killed by a neighbor in Pierce County on March 24th—after the incident.  FOX 13
  • The Washington State Department of Transportation warned drivers on March 24 that a scam text and email is tricking people by pretending to be from Good to Go! toll agencies and asking for quick payment using a fake website that mirrors the WSDOT site—recipients are urged to file a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center if they receive these messages.  KOMO

  • After heavy late La Niña snowfall, Crystal Mountain announced it will extend its ski season through Memorial Day—May 26. The resort said its mid-mountain base now stands at about 10 feet to support skiers and riders for upcoming spring events.  FOX 13
