The Puyallup Food Bank reported a critical drop in non-perishable supplies after fewer donations arrived this spring while daily service grew from 12 to about 60 families, and CEO Shawn Manley said rising living costs have intensified the need for support — a $20 donation pays for 100 meals. Volunteers and staff continue to appeal for donations as the food bank struggles to meet the urgent needs of local families.
