➤ OSPI has approved Ferrucci Junior High's emergency waiver request for five missed instructional days after the April 4 fire; as a result, the school canceled the make-up days and set the last day for students on June 16 (a 3.25-hour early release). Puyallup School District

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ WSDOT said its Revive I-5 project remains on track despite current lane closures (express lanes run only northbound) to ease congestion, with full reopening set from June 8 through July 10 during the World Cup and work shifting to southbound lanes in 2027. KOMO
