- ➤ More than 120 students from Emerald Ridge High, Puyallup High, Rogers High, and Walker High earned PSD's Seal of Biliteracy on June 12—an honor that shows they can use English and another language—and the award highlights their achievement in learning new languages. Puyallup School District

- ➤ On June 12, more than 300,000 bees were found swarming inside the walls of a historic home in Puyallup built in the 1930s — experts are assessing how to safely remove them. FOX 13
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ PSD spring athletes were honored on June 12 for earning academic awards, state titles and league championships across sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, and track at local schools including Emerald Ridge, Puyallup High and Rogers High.
