Good morning, Puyallup.

Pierce County deputies were involved in a shooting on Monday at 5:30 p.m. on C Street South near Lafayette Street in Parkland, and the Pierces County Force Investigation Team is now investigating while the public is asked to avoid the area.

Authorities say a homicide investigation is underway on Ketron Island after a woman was found dead with multiple stab wounds on Sunday night, and the suspect drove his car off a ferry dock while investigators search for his vehicle using a remote operated vessel—keeping the couple’s 1-year-old child safe.
