- ➤ Pierce County prosecutors arrested Brock Maxwell, a longtime youth coach in Eatonville, for possessing and sharing child sexual abuse material between May 1 and June 1—he was detained at Capital Lumber and his trial is set for September 13th amid strong parental outrage. FOX 13
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wildfire smoke from the 4,000 acre Bear Gulch fire near Lake Cushman affected western Washington on Monday—air quality in parts of Seattle dropped to moderate and unhealthy levels for sensitive groups. A well-defined cold front will bring rain starting Tuesday that is expected to dampen fire risks and clear the smoky air by Wednesday. KOMO
