Here's your local news at a glance for Friday, the 11th of September.
Good morning, Puyallup.
🎓 Education
Schools are recording attendance as usual even though an integration issue with the new student information system (Focus) means ParentSquare notifications are not sent, and officials say teams are working to fix the problem and will update families on Tuesday.
As the school year begins, families are reminded that students must follow bus driver directions to keep rides safe — students should keep personal electronic devices stowed unless instructed otherwise.
School staff and Transportation will address any rule concerns.
