Good morning, Puyallup.

After a board meeting on September 15th, the Puyallup School Board chose Northwest Leadership Associates to lead the superintendent search for the 2026-27 school year — the firm will use its four-phase plan with community input to find a leader who meets the district’s needs — the board said.

The school board approved a resolution on September 15th directing the Interim Superintendent to develop a Budget Restoration Plan for the 2026-27 school year—this plan will address deficits and protect student programs.

A draft plan will be presented by February 2026.

Applications are now open for the 2025-26 Superintendent's Student Leadership Team that lets high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in our district share ideas on policies, school safety, and other issues.

Selected students will meet monthly in person starting October 29 at Puyallup ESC + at other campuses later in the year + and receive training in leadership and advocacy.
