Pierce County's ferry service to Anderson and Ketron islands resumed Tuesday after crews installed replacement propulsion boards flown in from Canada, and officials are asking travelers to delay nonessential trips while the county reviews communication protocols and backup-vessel options.
📰 Transit
Sound Transit is launching a pilot through spring 2027 that will allow pets on Link light rail, Sounder trains, and ST Express buses under new rules: dogs must be in carriers or on short leashes, cats and small pets must stay in secure carriers, and animals must be controlled and kept out of seats, aisles, and doorways.
